IMMIGRATION EVALUATIONS
“We are all immigrants in this journey of life, searching for a place to call home.”
― Antoine Pécoud
Moving to a new country is a complex and challenging experience. At Silver Spring Counseling, we recognize the significance of addressing legal, social, and psychological obstacles to attain stability and security. To that end, we offer comprehensive mental health assessments for people who are pursuing lawful status in the United States. These assessments are essential for documenting the psychological and social impacts of immigration-related difficulties. They play a critical role in ensuring that all people are treated fairly and compassionately as they seek legal status. Our services encompass psychosocial evaluations for individuals applying for:
T Visa
U Visa
Asylum
VAWA (Violence Against Women Act)
Hardship Waivers
Cancellation of Removal
Evaluations consist of two to four hours of interview time and include a comprehensive written report submitted directly to your immigration attorney.

Right now, today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Our ears can still hear the voices of our loved ones." Thich Nhat Hanh
